When a jaded modern family of four gives up on Christmas—dismissing it as too much hassle and ignoring their own family roots—they suddenly find themselves whisked back to George Washington’s snowy camp on Christmas Eve 1776. There, they come face-to-face with the legendary general himself and other historic figures, including their own long-lost ancestor, a spirited colonial army drummer who teaches the family’s son the true rhythm and meaning of duty and heritage. Meanwhile, the daughter unexpectedly finds herself falling in love amid the chaos of Revolutionary War camp life.
