Tuesday nights this summer, join our Laughing Academy and build and refine your standup comedy act. You’ll learn about the anatomy of a joke, crafting a comedic point of view, comedic acting and stage presence, and what goes on ‘behind the scenes’ of comedy show production. You’ll be guided and supported by your teacher, comedian Steve Rocco, alongside special guest drop-ins. All along, you’ll write and create your own standup act, and you’ll perform in a show on the MainStage at Sticks & Stones Comedy Club. Whether you’ve always wanted to be a comedian, or you just want to gain confidence and polish your public speaking ability, this is your sign. Just bring a notebook, a pen, and your sense of fun!

Class starts next Tuesday, July 7, 6:00 pm–8:30pm and goes every Tuesday evening through our Graduation Show Tuesday, August 25!
