Little Women (May 10 – 11)

Little Women

May 10 & 11 at 7pm

Presented by Black Box Performance Project Spring Musical in association with Southampton Cultural Center
Director Tamara Salkin and Musical Director Amanda Jones act as guides and mentors to help actors and singers learn theatre and vocal skills for on and off the stage. Using Black Box Theatre style and techniques, participants will perform a full length musical in an educationally based setting. Taking the focus off the set, costumes, lights and spectacle we will bring the focus back to the actors and the work they are doing.
Actors will do thorough script, song, and character analysis. Actors will make stagecraft decisions regarding the minimal costumes, sets, props, sound design, and lighting design. Actors will learn production duties such as constructing the playbill and more.
